About Us

RvBTO is an Internet community event based in Toronto, Ontario. We had our humble beginning in 2004 when a group of nerds got together and decided to make a fan event for a show on the web called “Red vs Blue”. That event would be known as RvBTO, and would go on strong for eight years under that name. Due to increasingly busy grown-up lives, the creators of RvBTO decided to retire the event, but they wanted the community spirit to live on.

RvBTO was followed by RTO, and then Toronto: Unconventional. TO: Uncon was an event for members of the RT Community, run by members of the RT community, because sometimes your favourite part of going to a convention is getting to hang out with your friends after it.

Eventually TO: Uncon had to end, as the Rooster Teeth community as we knew it gradually moved on. Then in March, 2024, we learned that Rooster Teeth was shutting down. Now RvBTO is back for one last time, to give the RT community the final sendoff it deserves.
