Hi Everyone,

I’d like you to meet Spencer aka Spenny and Lori. They are two great new additions to the RvBTO team and they are looking forward to making RvBTO 2012 the best final event. I asked Spenny and Lori to tell us more about themselves. This is what they had to say:

My name is Spencer but my friends usually call me “Spenny”. I can ride a unicycle and I help run a sailing school in the summer time. I go to school at Laurier for anthropology and love studying popular culture. I don’t really remember exactly how I came across RVBTO but I did and I’m glad to be a part of such an amazing event. Next year I’m really excited to see who from the cast shows up and I can’t wait to meet more people from the community.

My name is Lori, but I think more people call me Cat now than anything else since most of my friends came from the internet. I love to read books, watch movies, and write poetry and short stories whenever the writer’s block lifts.

I came across the RT Community when the first season came out on the net. We used to gather in a friend’s dorm room and watch the episodes every release night, and eventually I found my way to the first forums, and from there to the first community site where I became hooked! I think I’ve only missed the very first RvBTO, but I have made it a point since then to never miss another RvBTO again.

This year is going to be very different for me. It’s very exciting because I get to help out behind the scenes a bit more, and, let’s face it, every RvBTO gets better and better, but it’s also tinged with sadness because it’s the last one. It’s meant a lot to me, as I know it has for a lot of other Community members, and so that’s why I am really looking forward to the craziness and awesomeness of RvBTO 2012.
